CSFB also downgraded the gold stocks. equally poorly conceived, since the type of divergence between the stocks and the PoG we've seen recently has historically almost always been a bullish sign.

agree on the refiners....one of the few sectors with stable to rising cash flows, not exactly a prime target for a downgrade. of course WS 'analysts' are generally useless...seems no-one is as of yet taking the long term energy problems seriously.
