Richard: I would suggest that guy look at Taiwan's market this morning before he dumps his puts. Taiwan, which gets 3/4s of its GDP from exports, just closed below 5300 in a massive sell off last night. Since the beginning of the year, the Taiwan market has held firm in anticipation of a bottom in semis this quarter. I marked 5300 as critical support on my charts. It has traded above that level since January but has been in a downtrend since February 20th. After a bounce off that level, it ripped through that support like nobody's business and closed at 5244 near its lowest level of the day. UMC said last night that it was trying to "cut costs" so that it did not lose money. Both UMC and TSM fell about 4%. Also, one might look to see how many shares Rick Hill registered to sell last month. Tons.

I think there is a good chance for a rally in June but from lower levels first.
