Cubix to sell interest in Bird Canyon Pipeline

Cubix Investments and its wholly owned subsidiary, RIS Resources (USA)
Inc., have entered into a settlement agreement and related purchase and
sale agreement with Western Gas Resources, Inc., and its wholly owned
subsidiary, Mountain Gas Resources, Inc. Under the provisions of the
agreements, RIS USA has agreed to sell its 50-per-cent interest in the
pipeline in Wyoming known as the Bird Canyon Pipeline to Mountain, the
owner of the other 50-per-cent interest and the operator of the pipeline.
The agreements call for the settlement of all claims and litigation among
the parties and will result in a net payment to RIS USA of $5.85-million
(U.S.).
The foregoing transaction is subject to the approval of the Canadian
Venture Exchange.
