A question about backing up, and downloading, Favorites.

I have both IE and Netscape Communicator installed on this (old, still) computer. I like both of them. (Actually, I like Netscape better, except that IE has one function I like a lot. Also, my new computer comes with it installed.)

Anyway, a while back when I installed IE on this computer, I imported my Netscape bookmarks over to IE Favorites.

I see, though, that when I put the Favorites backup disk made from IE in, sometimes, but not always, the bookmarked link doesn't work without the Netscape browser up. I click on the link, and the Netscape, Profile Manager, Welcome To Communicator, Manage Profile, Work Offline, Start Communicator thing shows up.

That seems to mean that a lot of the saved bookmarks aren't going to be available unless I install Netscape Communicator, too.

I know I could save the URL's one by one and add them to the IE bookmarks.

But... there is an insane number of them.

I know, it's time to do some weeding out.

Just thought I'd see what you thought.
