don't be tricked by the price action today. despite the fact MSFT is technically past $70 per share, there is still a large resistance at $71. however, the resistance at 71 is less than it was at 69 and 70. the overhead seems to be clearing, but it is clearly quite large.

if you look at the price action from late august 99 to mid-december 99 you will see substantial resistance in the 95 area.

if you are technically cautious given the mkt environment, as i am, you will factor this line in.

also, 120 cannot be called this early on. it cannot be warranted without first establishing some technical or fundamental base.
