Just yesterday it was revealed that Duke Energy tried to squash an investigation into their pricing practices by offerring California what are essentially under-the-table payments for past energy charges. Two weeks ago Enron was enjoined by a federal judge from trying to back out of a four-year contract with the University of California to sell them cheap energy so they could sell it on the spot market instead.

DiFi is probably wrong, but you certainly are as well. The truth is somewhere in between.
