The Murdoch juggernaut. NWS acquires INT'L FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT. NWS) News Corporation Limited Adrs INTERNATIONAL FAMILY ENTERTAIN shares rose Wednesday as NEWS CORPORATION LIMITED ADRS is expected to acquire the cable-television programming company for about $1.7 billion, or about $35 a share, the Wall Street Journal reported. (NWS) News Corporation Limited Adrs INTERNATIONAL FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT said it will issue a statement in late Wednesday but declined to comment on the contents. The company's shares were halted on the New York Stock Exchange in late trading. Chairman Pat Robinson recently said a deal involving the possible sale of the company could be struck soon.
