"There are others out there who will "invest" in a company like CORV because they believe that their research and development will create (or has created) a product that will make money in the future." I appreciated your comments on CORV today. I know it may not be a widely held perspective, but I believe that good companies with truly innovative, imaginative, future-oriented products will not only be good stocks in the long run but offer a lot of "safe" volatility in the short run. I'm still a very new investor, but happy to hold CORV. And just as happy when the unimaginative Motley Fool dropped JDSU in favor of some upstart financial company called T Rowe Price. Perhaps a few will be fooled into selling so I can buy more...
