New Blue Ribbon's partner finds Moose mineralization

Thu 3 May 2001 News Release
Mr. Larry Kryska reports
New Blue Ribbon has received information regarding progress of the
exploration program being performed by its joint venture partner, BHP
Diamonds Ltd., on the Moose project in northeast Manitoba.
The drilling of magnetic anomalies in two holes of the program encountered
significant amounts of sulphides in both holes. One hole intersected 48.8
metres of sulphide mineralization and the other hole hit 22.8 metres of
sulphide mineralization along the same geological horizon. Cores from these
two holes have been shipped to BHP's warehouse and are currently being
relogged in detail and will be submitted for assay. Results are expected
within the next two to three weeks.
Larry Kryska, president of New Blue Ribbon, said: "As occasionally happens,
the search for kimberlite using magnetic data has resulted in the discovery
of another quite different and interesting magnetic rock type. We cannot
make any further observations on the significance of this sulphide
mineralization until we receive the assay results."
WARNING: The company relies upon litigation protection for
"forward-looking" statements.
