Right on Solon, good, admit that hostility! The greatest socialist wheeze of all time, (my hostility is towards ideas - not people) i.e. you are not responsible or capable of thinking on your own therefore I will do it for you.

You make the Spanish Inquisition look mild in comparison. People who have good ideas usually have courage and will see through you.

I can understand how offended you would be at ideas, any ideas. Picking two old testament offerings served up cold and out of context hardly serve your purpose.

"I despise most biblical ideas because they are ignoble and because they diminish humankind." How do you know? And what does Jesus have to do with the old testament? He came in fulfillment of that scripture and was killed at the hands of it's proponents.
