Right, it's truly amazing... something that might otherwise take 20 minutes to down load, an interview or a movie trailer for example, only takes about 4 seconds... I think telephone modems will be obsolete soon enough, maybe even before the DOW closes above 11,000 and that could be next week.....<g> our broadband fiber optic cable modems with a reasonably fast PC are about 400 times faster than the standard telephone modem, so 'they' say... whoever 'they' are anyway.....<g> I don't think anybody really knows who 'they' are.....<g> GZ
