But what about the fact that 90% of the cable systems are one-way
only? Where are the dollars going to come from to make them go
two way? This issue seemed to be the biggest problem for the cable modem folks that I spoke with at CES. The bottom line here for
the cable modem vendors is that the market won't take off until the cable systems upgrade their networks.

PS. Don't tell the H&J folks, but it looks like ATM is DOA.
Most networking companies are talking about 100Mhz Ethernet
and Gigabit Ethernet. ATM is beginning to look like Quad
Hifi......
