Gottfried, Did you catch that vibration guy who was the market monitor guest on NBR last night? Interesting fellow. He somehow applies vibration analysis mathematics to the stock market. I must admit, it is a bit beyond me as to how one could do that in a meaningful way. At any rate, he likes semis here, including INTC and AMAT. He also is predicting a Nasdaq of 3900 to 4300 in November of this year, followed by a 38-50% drop in the Naz at that time, if I remember correctly. He expects the Dow to top at around 1400, also in November.
I vote for the 3900 to 4300 Nasdaq this year, but I won't hold my breath waiting for that to happen.
Off topic, just heard Scott McNealy speak on PBS. I must admit, the guy presented himself very well. He came across as being very sharp, and as someone who has his act together. As expected, he gave some entertaining jabs at "the monopolist". Overall I feel better about SUNW as an investment after hearing him speak. It seems that MSFT is really getting their act together lately, and I have wondered how that might affect Sun. I just picked up a few shares of SUNW at 17 recently. His overall view on technolgy, as you might expect, is very bullish. He likened this period in the history of the web to the first couple of minutes of a 60 minute game.
