I caught a show on Local Issues on KCET here in LA and the commentator said that a poll of people said they would rather have black-outs than pay the high prices of peak power. I think it is just bravado. They will not like the consequences if we really do have a series of blackouts this year. Businesses will like it even less.

I wonder if those polled realize they will not have a choice between high prices or blackouts. Gov. Flashlight and his comrades will be manning the generators and right now they are low on details.
