John, I didn't see the NBR show and share with you doubt on how vibration analysis can anticipate stock market movement. But hope springs eternal and some will use a familiar tool on any problem that comes their way.

Business Week's cover story deals with creative accounting and is a good read, now that we're being exhorted to look for value again. Subscribers...

Another BW blurb states investment bankers are now raking it in from energy related IPO's, so I expect more hyping of energy stocks [after the principal players have made their bundle].

Needs to go up to 50% this time to make it a bull.
Others disagree with that and it is not hard to find TA adherents who are more optimistic or pessimistic. The reason it makes sense to even ask the question is that it is safer to go long a rising stock if the market is a bull.
