I would say not many. But as I've been told from the horse's mouth, they're grateful for the work. Even at below minimum wage, they can work hard and make more in a few months than they can in Mexico. One gentleman Kristel worked with, TD, in a local restaurant has worked several years without a day off. He refuses, they tried to MAKE him take off. TD is saving to buy a house, and he only has another year or so to go. To buy a house - with Cash, upfront. This while supporting a large family in a rented house. Many of the younger Mexicans come to Houston, rent a one bedroom apartment, and 8 of them will live there, working several jobs each. They make enough money to bring their families to the US, and then get decent lodging for them and their families. Future middle class citizens. Derek
