Yes any tax payer in his right mind will express sorrow for those workers.;)

For us here in the beach area the gentle breeze keeps things very comfortable. I've never thought of putting air conditioning in though some older neighbors have. I turn off the pilot on the heater around Easter. I think I'm also on a grid that will not be effected as we're very close to a fire station. Interestingly the City Hall considered moving some of their operations as they'd signed up on the program that would assess penalties for power used during certain critical periods. Some high bills sent them looking for a solution. Wishful thinkers.
