OT* Historical Quote* It was a historical quote from my room mate who survived that terrible winter and the retreat from the YALU river. I think the sub zero weather killed as many Americans as did the Chinese. I have done years of Volunteer work at Veterans nursing homes. I like the stories of the old timers. As they sit in their wheel chairs with all the tubes connected (they have been that way for years) they tell of strange things that happened to them in WW11 and the Korean War. There is no attempt at verbal cleansing, nor is there much malice, just silent resignation of the situation at hand. Currently I do volunteer work with the street people of the area.(These are the people that if you see them in your neighborhood, you call the police to find out what they are doing in YOUR neighborhood. I have never given any consideration to a street person's race in offering help. That would require scrapping off some grime to determine the exact race. For the last time . I apologize.. Jerome
