Dear Paul:

I did it because I could. And I do like an even faster system. Don't you? Especially, if it costs no more. Wasn't that a reason you gave for your Celeron, P2, and P3?

Besides, many users have come to me over the years and begged me not to upgrade their software because it doesn't work right and all of their tricks and shortcuts do not work any more. They also request it as the new software runs slower than their old one on the same machine. How many upgrades have failed due to this simple fact? If the new box does not run XXYYZZ faster than the old one, it is not bought. And even if the new software runs faster than the old, if it requires too much retraining, is also is passed by. And this is becoming more the norm for businesses as time goes by.

Pete
