And the ones who like to tattoo things on the lips or on the ear, staple tags to their ear, crawl into their dens while they are hibernating, stick them with syringes to knock them senseless and generally make life miserable are not blameless either. Sorry to my many biologist friends.

A year or so before I got here a pod of Orcas got trapped in a tidal pond for weeks. Some people in boats finally drove them out and saved them. That was worthwhile, I think.
