Morningstar Asia to Fund Info., Analysis on Quamnet's Website

Morningstar Asia, the regional arm of Chicago-based Morningstar Inc., said it will offer its proprietary Morningstar Quicktake Reports and FundSelector search engine on Quamnet's website.

Morningstar Asia has developed Quicktake Reports to meet the varied and extensive needs of mutual fund investors. Quamnet users will now have access to Morningstar Quicktake pages on SFC-authorized mutual funds in Hong Kong, providing them with comprehensive information on their fund investments in a user-friendly format. The Morningstar Quicktake Report will allow Quamnet users to view a fund's Snapshot Page, which provides a convenient summary of the most useful fund-investment information. In addition, Quamnet users can take advantage of Morningstar Asia's popular FundSelector tool, which allows users to generate select lists of Hong Kong funds based on both preset- and user-defined criteria.

Morningstar Asia was established in April 2000 as a joint venture between Morningstar Inc., Pacific Century CyberWorks (0008) and Softbank Finance Corp.
