Yahoo! and Compaq Offer Trade Show Attendees Free Transportation From Las Vegas Convention Center to Las Vegas-Area Hotels in Co-Branded Shuttles
(BUSINESS WIRE)-- There's no doubt about it -- trade shows mean tons of walking and tired feet. But attendees of next week's Networld+Interop (N+I) Trade Show in Las Vegas will get some help from Yahoo! (Nasdaq:YHOO - news) and Compaq (NYSE:CPQ - news) with FREE shuttle rides between the city's convention center and hotels.
Two ``Yahoo!® Powered by Compaq'' shuttles, wrapped in Yahoo!'s signature purple and yellow colors, will roll through the streets of Las Vegas offering free rides during N+I, from 8-11 a.m. and 1-6 p.m. May 7-11, 2001 (route information below). Passengers will be entertained by a fun trivia game offering information on the Yahoo! and Compaq alliance, as well as information on Compaq's line of products displayed at the Citrix booth. Shuttle passengers will also have the opportunity to win a Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC.

The shuttle service promotes the global technology and marketing alliance between Yahoo! and Compaq announced in January. The multi-year agreement makes Compaq the preferred Internet infrastructure provider to Yahoo! and represents a substantial commitment by Compaq to advertise and market its products and services throughout the Yahoo! network of properties.
