InfoInterActive to power Verizon Internet Call Manager

Monday May 7 2001

News Release

An anonymous director reports

InfoInterActive has been selected by Verizon Communications Inc. to power its Internet Call Manager service in four northeast states and the District of Columbia with the ability to expand throughout the remaining Verizon wireline territory. Verizon's current Internet Call Manager service, available in the New York City area, uses InfoInterActive technology.
Under a contract signed today, Verizon will deploy InfoInterActive technology and services on an undisclosed schedule to provide a feature-rich service to its customers. InfoInterActive will be providing most aspects of the Verizon service under an application service provider model using technology already in place, allowing for an aggressive deployment.
Internet Call Manager is the world's first and industry-dominant Internet call management service. It allows Internet users to monitor and manage incoming telephone calls while on-line, regardless of how they connect or where they are. On-screen notices let computer users answer, reply, forward or direct calls to voice mail. Since its launch in 1997, ICM has helped telephone customers handle millions of calls that otherwise would be missed.
WARNING: The company relies upon litigation protection for "forward-looking" statements.
