SEDONA Provides Marketing Database Solution to The Dime Savings Bank of New York, FSB; Intarsia Replaces Existing Marketing Database
KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 7, 2001--SEDONA(R) Corporation (Nasdaq:SDNA) (www.sedonacorp.com) has been selected by The Dime Savings Bank of New York, FSB, as an in-house application service provider (ASP), to provide a more efficient solution with broader capabilities for its marketing database.
A component of SEDONA's Intarsia(TM), a verticalized CRM application solution for the financial services market, will replace Dime's existing marketing database system. Consistent with its marketing and segmentation strategies, Dime will use the customer segmentation and householding features of Intarsia to analyze its customer base; develop more efficient, targeted direct mail programs; and to track, monitor and enhance the performance of these programs.
"Intarsia's marketing database feature for segmenting and targeting customers was a key factor in determining our selection," said Tom Ducca, chief marketing officer, Dime. "We're confident SEDONA's solution will serve as a successful tool for our marketing department to amplify their efforts, advance profitability for the bank and better serve our customers."
SEDONA's Intarsia is a comprehensive CRM solution, which can be purchased as an ASP offering or purchased as a license to run on-site. Intarsia includes components such as profitability, segmentation, householding and campaign management; lead tracking; Web-based reporting creation and publishing; and a personalized portal that allows financial service organizations and their employees to dynamically create customized Web pages with all Intarsia components, third-party applications and any other information that they have been authorized to use. All this functionality is available to Intarsia users over a wireline or wireless network using laptops and handheld PCs. In addition, SEDONA offers a portfolio of Marketing Solution Services that allow their clients to outsource strategic and tactical marketing programs to acquire and retain customers, expand existing customer relationships and assist financial service institutions in complying with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Financial Privacy Act.
"Intarsia provides Dime with the information and tools to empower users to make intelligent decisions in communicating to customers and prospects," said Alyssa Dver, chief marketing officer, SEDONA Corporation. "Financial services institutions, such as Dime, are realizing the value of deploying proven, effective solutions such as Intarsia to help them differentiate themselves in today's competitive, customer-centric banking market."
