Jon, what do you think might have happened if I shorted 500 shares of DELL instead of 100? I bought back within 30 minutes so if Datek would have given me 6 trades over say 12 minutes to make up 500 shares that would be unacceptable. What broker would you recommend that could get 500 or 1000 shares of ASND, MSFT, CSCO, USRX, DELL etc (high volume stocks)? I need quick executions like Datek gives. I'd be willing to spend $20 per trade maybe more. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Maybe I'm overreacting as this is the first time this has happened to me(split trade 89shs then 11), but again I'm just doing test trades with 100 shares which will be increased to 500 to 1000 when I'm more confident of my abilities and Datek's executions. Does anyone else successfully trade 500 to 1000 shares of these type of high volume stocks. Please let me know. Thank you! jpfoley@erols.com
