That's part of the reason I am still somewhat bullish about AMD's laptop story. <I just covered my AMD short for a $80K loss. Ouch!!!> Sorry to hear that. Did you consider writing calls instead? I am talking advantage of the volatility by writing options on my position pretty aggressively. I think there is a lot of money to be made by selling covered calls (or naked puts if there is no underlying position) on this stock for the next couple of years. Chuck
