Dear patricia, the only difference between California and all California's energy conservation as number 1, the distinction is the Only state with a bankrupt utility and the only state with 30 days of rolling blackout predicted. California's ability to grow it's economy has been dealt a crushing blow. As to solar or any other power, anyone anywhere can invest 50k to save a few K in money annually. But why do it in California electricity is cheap and paid for by you for everyone else. And the 50K I was speaking of was not for self sufficiency with alternative sources. It's was for supplemental.
