I don't think it was any one thing all the sub-prime lenders tanked in the same period. Part of it was due to Interest rate worries, AAM made some comments that some accounting changes could affect earnings this quarter, a couple other companies Mercury Financial and Jayhawk Acceptance corp. had some major accounting problems, plus the P/E for this sector was high. Basically, a lot of worry set in and everyone bailed on the sector. You can see that by plotting a graph of FPFG, MONE, UC, AAM, IMCC, ICII they all took the same extreme dive and some have rebounded nicely. I expect the same to happen here.

Great potential to run back up into the 20's. The stock is oversold.
