<<In what sense "bigger misery"? More to eat, longer life expectancy, better health care, more education. No?>>
You are only as wealthy as the others are poor. While they can eat, educate themselves, live longer they are the subject to economic division. They can compete only between themselves. Instead of India prospectus maybe should start reading their and others labour law, retirement regulations, etc. and you might find out that nothing changed in the past couple thousand years ( I'm talking in real life terms, not a paper). If you want to tell me that they free to compete with top nations, open the border of your country to them. This how I see globalisation. Are you and your government afraid of such a "global free trade".
<<Where do you live and why is it worse there?>>
Who said is worse here? Plenty of clean water, forest, close to Banff, Jasper, no lack of energy, you name it.
<<How so?>>
In order to get loans from IMF, or other financial corp. most of the countries were forced to participate in "information revolution", exposing themselves to even higher debt burden, one of the ways of assuring low world commodity prices. Good side is that they will not pay off these debts.
My conclusion for you is: If you really think you are the winner and survivor try to persuade smugglers that you'll be credit worthy, get yourself somehow to China or India get a job over there, pay off your trip, make a good living. Thousands of them do the same in opposite direction. Feeling adrenaline rush? |
