Everyone wants society to be orderly, crime to be low, and children to behave. If that is what being right wing is, then everyone is right wing. As for the strong military, well, for a long time the right was isolationist. It was the changing face of the post- War world that made a number of conservatives internationalist, and willing to join alliances like NATO. In other words, it was contingent on circumstance. Most societies expect a degree of loyalty, so what? And conservatives do not want to make homosexuality illegal.........
