The next two weeks:

* Today Dell announced that they have met earnings and revenue expectations for their just completed quarter. This will probably cause Intel and other tech stocks to rise again tomorrow.

* Tomorrow afternoon, Cisco will report. They have set expectations so low (2 cents) that they will probably find a way to beat. However, guidance will probably be more important. Hopefully, recent law suits will inspire them to paint an accurate picture. If they mention "stabilization", its off to the races on Wednesday.

* On Thursday morning, AMD has their SSB webcast. AMD will probably make some bullish statements. This good news will be rewarded with a market pullback and an associated hit to AMD's stock.

* On the following Tuesday, the 15th, AMD may introduce the mobile Palomino with a kick-ass Nvidia chipset. This should cause Intel to fall, but the Fed will lower rates by another 50 basis points on that same morning, and both AMD and Intel will rise (AMD $33, Intel $35).

* On that Thursday, the 17th, Dell reports. Mickey D. will undoubtedly try to paint a better picture than he knows to be true (it's in his nature and he can not help it). This will cause a tech rally on Friday for options expiration.

* On Friday, everyone with Intel May puts get burned.

* Following that, Intel drops to new lows over the next couple of months.

Any other predictions?

Pravin.
