Cali is not seeming such a good place as it was. - My health club dues went from $45 to $54/mo this week because of energy costs. - Drinking water at local store went from 25c to 30c/gal this week because of energy costs. - Neighbor is on 2nd reduction in asking price to sell his townhouse. $509k to $499k to $489k. Still no interest. - 6 For-Sale signs on our little road now, a new record. - Next-door neighbor was laid off from her HR job at a tech company on Thursday. I've even considered cutting back on my own spending, but I really need that new HDTV ready TV -g-.
