I have a modest stake in NVDA, kind of. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I jumped on the TDFX (3dfx Interactive) bandwagon when the sale of graphics assets to Nvidia was announced in December 2000. I initially bought 5000 shares of TDFX for 5/32. I have since increased my shares to a little over 30,000 (too bad not all at 5/32.) I seriously think that the $0.35 TDFX may payoff as much as $1.00 or more depending on the value and how many of the 1 million NVDA shares are left for shareholders (45 MM sh. or so outstanding). With NVDA at $35-40 it was questionable. With NVDA in the $90's, its showtime!!! But then again I could fall flat on my face. I guess that's why I haven't put more into it.

Still, I wonder what's going on with NVDA stock other than one less competitor and XBox contract. I like the AMD conspiracy theory. Also, what effect will the 1 million NVDA shares being dispersed and sold do the NVDA's price?

Sorry for the OT, but you guys brought up NVDA. Its the same thing when any friends/acquaintences ask "What kind of computer should I buy?" They had no idea what was coming.

Good luck to me<g>
