Oh Ed... what rapier sharp wit you have.

What keen perception. What investing acumen.

What stellar reputation.

No... what foolishness.

But since you asked a legitimate question, a legitimate answer: my target price on CSCO? I'll think about going long when it hits $12 and change. On the way up. If I miss, oh well. $8.50 looks good for someone waiting to catch the bottom. I think these prices may be hit, but most likely after CSCO punctures $27.

So why don't I take a trading position here? Because I don't need the risk and aggravation, and I do not get adrenalized by the prospect of losing money.

Sure, it tripled in 4 years.

Uh, actually, it tripled in two years and then went nowhere for the next two. Sure, along the way there was an apparent retripling, and then some. But that was taken away along with a lot of money from the dollar cost averaging crew.

Don't look now, but some of that first tripling might be on the chopping block too.

Still sports a stratospheric PE. Lots of people are catching on to this pro-forma scam. Stock falling out of favor. And the bubble... half empty, or half full?

The picture isn't rosy to the upside Ed.

But maybe I'm wearing dark glasses.
