I usually don't like to hold position going into "known" big announcement.

You are right in that we will see some sort of FED hope rally this week. (50% is probably factored in the market already)
BUT YOU are expecting the market to sell off on the news, and probably others might have the similar idea.
I'm guessing short-term traders will start to sell a day or two BEFORE the meeting this time.

Doesn't always work but trying to stay just one step ahead of the crowd.

That is why I am planning to exit no later than Thursday this week rather than holding until Tuesday next week.
