WMC wants to get rid of its gold division. It has nothing to do with Meliadine. Short term, it is not good because it means that no work will take place this year on this 6M ounces property. Long term, it will depends on who acquires the interest in Meliadine and when.

Keep in mind that Meliadine West is only 33% of CBD gold assets. The Vault deposit is where the efforts are concentrated now and this is 100% CBD. The potential there is excellent.

I would love a sell-off on CBD so I can accumulate more at lower levels.
