Four soldiers killed in Kuwait bombing accident
WASHINGTON (Army News Service, March 13, 2001) -- Four soldiers were killed Monday in a training accident near the Udairi Range in Kuwait when a Navy aircraft dropped ordnance too close to an observation post.

The accident took place during a nighttime close air support exercise in Kuwait when a Navy F/A-18C dropped its MK-82, 500-pound ordnance on or near observers at the Udairi Range, located about 30 miles south of Iraq.
