The fact Voop, an experienced WIND investor, questions whether this release is a big deal, leads me to believe WRS needs some help writing PR's.

Would it be too much to ask if they included some numbers w/regard to the $market size for this new product, expected incremental sales this FY, and future growth rates of this new revenue stream?

They do say "According to research firm IDC, Gigabit Ethernet end user revenues will grow at an annual rate of more than 100 percent through 2004, when they will overtake 100-Mbps Fast Ethernet as the dominant LAN switching technology." Wow, that's easily digested and to the point isn't it.

If this new product is the big deal AB has alluded to - the fact it has been registered as a non-event by investors says more about how WRS communicates to [potential] investors, and less about the exciting product development this may be for WRS.
