It is not impossible to have public housing that would work. It is not rocket science. But if you allow criminals in or allow criminals to rule the streets while at the same time you employ political hacks to run and maintain the housing you get nowhere. Private ownership of individual units would help greatly because they eliminate the hacks and the criminal element. We tend to blame the poor for all that befall them but most of the time its caused by other factors. mike
