i think this idea is absolutely preposterous. why even keep up the pretension of a free market then? we could just as well become communists...sheesh.
i keep wondering how come that nobody wants the natural forces of correction run their course? it's the ONLY WAY. government intervention in the markets is ALWAYS a grave mistake. isn't it enough that the merry pranksters try to print us to Utopia? it is this kind of "the government needs to look after everything, even our effing stocks, from the cradle to the grave..." attitude that costs us more and more of our freedom bit by bit...in exchange for a false comfort, since government intervention only makes matters WORSE in the long run, not better.

it's an outrage...and it's dangerous ground this dude is travelling on.
