The lack of follow through is not technically bearish
as the lack of a pull back on weak volume after the April gains (which I did catch) is inherantly bullish. The pattern that could be forming is an ascending triangle. Look for a strong 3rd impulse wave up.
Bruce - I remember higher PE ratios in 97 and I was
concerned about over-optimism. Boy, did I underestimate
that strength of the underlying fundamentals then. -MM
