With 384 ram I doubt if you ever have to worry about a slowdown due to swapfile usage. You would have to be a real power user (image editing,cad and the such at the same time)to approach that figure. Divide your Min # of 392716 by 1024 and you'll see that Norton has assigned the minimum swap file size to 384 mb...equal to your amount of ram. The only drawback I can see to a swap file of that size is you are reserving the fastest part of your disk for something you will be unlikely to ever use. As PW says, this could very well cost you 32 milliseconds a decade in lost time. Forgitabowtit <gg>
