It was my best Derby in years and one of my better racing days. Played overlay Monarchos heavily (for me) on win end and across the board, keyed him to five others, including, as a sop to my soft-touch wife, Invisible Ink. True, Ink had traffic trouble in the Fla Derby but his Blue Grass disappointed. But then he's Pletchers and that's worth something. Monarchos' time was excellent, of course, but believe that must be discounted to some extent in view of the curiously fast Churchill strip that day. Best regards... Len
