This is a frustrating period for all investors who have been waiting
for more KM contracts to materialize, but also remember that there
is more to Ampex than KM. Sadly, this has become a story stock, and
the story is not coming as swiftly as the market is demanding. Take
away the story, and Ampex would be trading up a couple points or so
from its current price. Excellent products, increasing earnings. But
getting to a share price that KM can instantly produce will be awhile
in coming, either by KM or thru existing current operations. So, in
any case, there is a waiting period for the results we expect. Think
patience. And also remember that the management team has substantial
stock holdings, so they no doubt know and understand what shareholder
value is all about. I will just hook my shares to back of the train
and let these guys pull us through. You need to have confidence in
both the products and management; neither usually survives long
without the other.
