I work in Investment Management too, and I let others trade for me for a living. Yes, the market was overvalued in 96 and so on - even Alan Greenspan called it, "irrational exuberence." No I didn't get my ass handed to me as a bear. I became bearish in April of 2000 after being a well known bull on Silicon Investor. The market is different now. This is not a bull market, it's a bear market, and I am now a well-known bear. This is how one makes money. No emotion, stop losses in place. You don't need to teach me about trading.
