If there is no "visibility" then why are they laying people off? I think no visibility means they don't want to tell
you what they see. They had no trouble with visiblity when things were going gangbusters, they would forcast 60% growth for 5 and 10 years out, no problem. This is how the justified their stock price. In actuality they had no visibility last year either, they just did not know it. They never have visibilty in my estimation, they just don't want to be held acountable for saying bullish things now and eating crow (or lawsuits) later. CSCO's main objectivie is thier stock price, make not doubt about it, routers are just a side story, a means to an end....
