I already did wager some money on that prediction, my own...<g> Your characterization of my market outlook is pleasing to me and to be expected, I surely don't want too many people to think the same as I do right now... let me remind you that after the crash in 1987, every market analyst said the stock market was finished, the market was done and it will take many, many years before it will ever recover... if I told you in 1987 the markets will recover immediately and in only ten years the DOW will rally from 1500 to 11,000 you probably would have told me, "That's the craziest thing I have seen in a crazy few years. Whatever your are smoking, I hope you didn't buy it using margin."

Well, you just did say that...

And, actually, I did buy it on the opening bell the morning after the crash 10/20/87 and sold out on 12/31/99... now, I'm back in these markets and have been buying all the way down.....

Forgive me, but let me bring you up to speed... after the end of WWII, the Cold War began and peaked in late November, 1962 with the Cuban missile crisis... we saw the end of the Cold War in the late 80's with the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of their Communist experiment... since that time, many emerging second and third world nations have been embracing a free economy and the free enterprise system, they all want a piece of the action... these emerging countries represent enormous developing markets and the biggest benefactors of this global trend will be U.S. companies... I'll take that wager offer, how about one million dollars in U.S. currency to be held in escrow until December 31, 2004 at which time the account will be assigned over to either you or me?

Best Regards,

GZ
