ban the consumption of Xmas pudding except on Xmas Day. LOL. I seriously doubt that Xmas pudding is in as much demand as sex so the inhabitants of your island are at less risk of the docks. Living in a state where all sexual contact other than missionary position intercourse between married partners is a felony is a disconcerting situation. I don't know that the law has ever kept anyone from committing those particular felonies, but choosing to ignore the law on one case does have something of a slippery slope for the citizenry. The law is rarely enforced, but like X and her chicken, it only has to be enforced once in a while to give one pause. The only reason I have the awareness of and interest in these laws that I do is that I served on a jury that convicted someone of sodomy. That was a good fifteen years ago or more and I am still pained by it. Otherwise, I might be quite oblivious. Karen
