carl I'm not saying that the Rambus solution doesn't "work", just that it is hell to debug. I am not going to disagree with you but there must be some tools out there that can help. Do you have any better solutions for chip to chip interface where Intel is going >2 GHz. This reference may be of some help. rambus.co.jp john
