not sure what I think of AAPL.... DELL is really talking about a tough operating environment.

This applies to DELL not AAPL....anecdotally, I know several people who are delaying buying home PC's until the POS Windows 95/98/ME operating system has died the death it deserves. Microsoft announced today that Oct. 25 is the firm release date for the new version, which is a slimmed down version of the far more stable Windows 2000. If that date holds, and my friends are a reasonable barometer of consumer buying behavior, you may see a surge in home PC demand at least by virtue of the new and more stable op system being available.....
